Ok, it's Friday again guys. Time to party! I will be sharing a hotspot (there will be a separate blog post on it as well) and a fun Wikihow article on writing essays. That is not it.. but if you want to know what I have more for you, you need to click 'read more'!
ROOS is a new (breakfast) hotspot my bestie and I discovered last Wednesday. I wanted to talk about this place briefly since I'll be writing a dedicated blog post on it next week, but.. WE LOVED IT! If you happen to be in Leiden this weekend you need to stop by there. You can visit ROOS in Leiden at the Botermarkt (nearby the city hall and shopping district) every day from 8 am to 6 pm. I've heard they have the best cakes in town! Ps. this lovely lady is in fact my best friend!

I get a lot of questions on how to write essays from friends and Instagram followers. More specifically, on how I write my introduction/first few sentences. I googled about essay writing this past week and found this fun yet informative article for WikiHow. Tips 6 and 7 are the ones I want you all to read. There is no need to write the first sentence first! Start with what you know! It doesn't matter if that is somewhere in the middle of your essay or the introduction.. You'll find a writing flow and came up with a brilliant opening. You've got this!

I've shared some of my study tips yesterday, but the more tips the merrier. I love this blog post because it shares 15 study tips for college/uni students but it's also very compact. Yes, it states some often heard tips (we all give them) and they're a 'cliche' but they're also very very true! Tip number 9, on staying positive, might be my favorite of all tips mentioned in the article. Want to know all study tips for students.. click here!

And as always, we end our party with a video. This week a very different one because this video is a 8 hour long live study with me! If you love to study with a buddy, but you don't have any friends near you or willing to study with you at the moment.. this girl posts several videos a week and I love them for when I study! This particular video is her latest one (when I post this study party) and introduced me to the Pomodoro method. This method is based on blocks of 25 minutes. You study for 25 minutes straight before you take a break (5 minutes). If you've repeated this 4 times you get a 25 minute break before you start all over again. This is a technique I'll be trying myself soon!
That's it guys. Thank you for reading this blog post and having a study party with me. I hope you like the shared links again this week. If there are any great tips, links or videos you want to share.. Leave them in a comment below or share them on Instagram with me and I will share them in my next study party! Have a great weekend! XO Kim
