Student hotspot | ROOS - Taste & Smile

You guessed what time it is.. Breakfast with bestie-time! As I've already told you guys in my previous student hotspot post my best friend and I both study in Leiden. Since last time, four weeks ago, we try to meet up every other Wednesday to chat and eat together. After Anne & Max we wanted to try ROOS, which is located very close to the Law faculty as well.

ROOS opens every day at 8 am and serve breakfast, lunch, high tea/wine/beer. I've also heard they have the best cake in town! While waiting for my bestie, I was an hour early, I got myself a fresh mint tea and read about an hour in my new book. On a side note: I love to read YA (young adult) fiction and Becky Albertalli is one of my absolute fav YA contemporary writers at the moment. Have you Simon vs the Homo sapiens Agenda from her yet? I love this one too!

The first time we went, 2 weeks ago Bente got the scrambled eggs with bacon and avocado while I choose the Greek yoghurt with fruits and nuts and seeds. When we went for the second time, yesterday, we got ourselves the breakfast combo (mini Greek yoghurt + scrambled eggs with avocado). So delish!

The mood at ROOS is incredible. The place is small, be early (!) or you have to wait, but the laid backness of the personnel makes it very chill. You know what I mean?! When we had to pick a place to have breakfast yesterday, the choice was easy lol. That had little to do with the fact that there aren't a lot of breakfast places in Leiden that open early in the morning.. If you're finding yourself in Leiden one day, stop by this amazing little shop. They have a boat where you can enjoy your food and drinks in summer too!

Study party #4

Ok, it's Friday again guys. Time to party! I will be sharing a hotspot (there will be a separate blog post on it as well) and a fun Wikihow article on writing essays. That is not it.. but if you want to know what I have more for you, you need to click 'read more'!  ROOS is a new (breakfast) hotspot my bestie and I discovered last Wednesday. I wanted to talk about this place briefly since I'll be writing a dedicated blog post on it next week, but.. WE LOVED IT! If you happen to be in Leiden this weekend you need to stop by there. You can visit ROOS in Leiden at the Botermarkt (nearby the city hall and shopping district) every day from 8 am to 6 pm. I've heard they have the best cakes in town! Ps. this lovely lady is in fact my best friend!  Photo/logo: WikiHow I get a lot of questions on how to write essays from friends and Instagram followers. More specifically, on how I write my introduction/first few sentences. I googled about essay writing thi...
