Study party #5

Hi guys! I'm back with another study party this week after being MIA last week! To make it up to you I'll be sharing great news for Study with Jess-fans and getting you up-to-date on study dupes. And oh my, I live for that article! Photo: Study with Jess/Seed.ed.Educationary  I don't know about you, but I fell in love with Jess' stationary the moment I saw it (online). Since Jess is from Australia and I'm from The Netherlands her books and planners where a bit out of reach. But not anymore! I repeat: NOT anymore. About two weeks ago Seed.ed announced on their Instagram that (inter)national shipping is cheaper. I looked around already and.. I want it all. First, saving up like crazy lol! Photo/infographic: Emmastudies I found another cool yet practical freebie for you! This one is from one of the girls I follow on Instagram myself and she totally nails it. This week at a glance printable has for every 'schoolday' a separate box just like b...

Student hotspot | ROOS - Taste & Smile

You guessed what time it is.. Breakfast with bestie-time! As I've already told you guys in my previous student hotspot post  my best friend and I both study in Leiden. Since last time, four weeks ago, we try to meet up every other Wednesday to chat and eat together. After Anne & Max we wanted to try ROOS, which is located very close to the Law faculty as well. While waiting for my bestie, I was an hour early, I got myself a fresh mint tea and read about an hour in my new book. On a side note: I love to read YA (young adult) fiction and Becky Albertalli is one of my absolute fav YA contemporary writers at the moment. Have you Simon vs the Homo sapiens Agenda from her yet? I love this one too! The first time we went, 2 weeks ago Bente got the scrambled eggs with bacon and avocado while I choose the Greek yoghurt with fruits and nuts and ...

After receiving all your lovely comments on yesterdays Instagram post, I wanted to talk about making difficult choices a little more in depth. This is a personal post, since Im sharing my own story, but you can find a general message in it. I've kept it short and sweet for you.  We must let go of the life we've planned, so as to accept the one who is waiting for us. I, for example, never thought I'd study Law in uni. I was 'supposed' to be a dance teacher. Having my own studio and teach all kinds of dance was what I dreamed of. I've spend more than half my life training to see everything fall into pieces in the end. Yes, I was heartbroken but I knew all was going to work out just fine! After I found a new path, becoming a lawyer, I'm finding myself again at a very difficult point in my life.  When I was running errands yesterday, my brain seemed to mess with me. I suggested to take the watch upstairs, while I meant the elevator. Later, when I ...
