Study party #5

Hi guys! I'm back with another study party this week after being MIA last week! To make it up to you I'll be sharing great news for Study with Jess-fans and getting you up-to-date on study dupes. And oh my, I live for that article!

I don't know about you, but I fell in love with Jess' stationary the moment I saw it (online). Since Jess is from Australia and I'm from The Netherlands her books and planners where a bit out of reach. But not anymore! I repeat: NOT anymore. About two weeks ago Seed.ed announced on their Instagram that (inter)national shipping is cheaper. I looked around already and.. I want it all. First, saving up like crazy lol!

I found another cool yet practical freebie for you! This one is from one of the girls I follow on Instagram myself and she totally nails it. This week at a glance printable has for every 'schoolday' a separate box just like boxes for goals, to dos, deadlines and notes (and much more). Easy to print at home and file in a ring bound folder or a big *ss planner or something like that. I will use this one for sure with my exams coming up in 2.5 weeks...

Emily is another student I follow on Instagram and her handwriting is to die for! The article I choose to share with you isn't about handwriting though.. We, as students, don't have money growing in our backyard so having dupes for expensive stuff is always great. In this article you can find dupes for the popular Leuchtturm 1917 notebooks and even Hema (our Dutch proud, lol) makes an appearance... Love love LOVE this article.

We all have to write essays once in a while (or like Lilia and me, all the time). Well, I want to be just as 'big' as Lilia is on Youtube and social media but since I'm not (yet) I will be sharing her video instead. This vid on her essay writing routine is an absolute must-see for everyone who still need to get the hang of it! This 8 minute long video will teach you how to get an A+ from start to finish. Oh, and her infallible style.. She's my woman crush, no doubt!

This is it already! This week went by so fast... Today is my last class of this year and my final exams are coming up. On one hand, I can't wait for summer to be here, but I know I want the new year to start after 2 weeks of vacay.. Yep, I'm that strange study-enthusiast girl! Tell me, what are you up to this weekend?

Student hotspot | ROOS - Taste & Smile

You guessed what time it is.. Breakfast with bestie-time! As I've already told you guys in my previous student hotspot post  my best friend and I both study in Leiden. Since last time, four weeks ago, we try to meet up every other Wednesday to chat and eat together. After Anne & Max we wanted to try ROOS, which is located very close to the Law faculty as well. ROOS opens every day at 8 am and serve breakfast, lunch, high tea/wine/beer. I've also heard they have the best cake in town! While waiting for my bestie, I was an hour early, I got myself a fresh mint tea and read about an hour in my new book. On a side note: I love to read YA (young adult) fiction and Becky Albertalli is one of my absolute fav YA contemporary writers at the moment. Have you Simon vs the Homo sapiens Agenda from her yet? I love this one too! The first time we went, 2 weeks ago Bente got the scrambled eggs with bacon and avocado while I choose the Greek yoghurt with fruits and nuts and ...
